This milestone commemoration offers time and space for those whose lives were forever changed to gather, to reflect and to hold space.

STILL ALIVE and KICKING Explores the wonder of knowing life through facing death. It is a celebration of our ability to experience the depths of despair and rebuild a life of purpose and determination to make a difference.

Through gripping narrative, jazz favourites, and stunning projections of Gill's visual art, audiences are taken on a profound journey, carefully designed to open hearts and minds and hold space with the triumphs driven by love.

This special performance features Dr. Julian Ferraretto on saw and violin, and Dylan Paul on Double Bass, together creating an immersive musical landscape that enhances Gill's powerful storytelling.

This multi award-winning show is a masterful hour of music, art, and spoken word.

Audiences laugh, sometimes cry, and inevitably sit in wonder as Gill shares experiences that offer profound insight and wisdom.

"Being back on stage, singing and using my art and narrative has given me the greatest sense of my full self since the bombings. I came off stage every night and just sobbed. It has been very, very emotional... I felt whole. I haven't felt that for 20 years." Gill Hicks

“If there is one thing worth doing this Fringe, it is spending an hour in a darkened room with Gill Hicks.”
Samela Harris, The Barefoot Review ★★★★★

“… a calling to all of us to relish the mundane as much as the magnificent,”
